Challenges

How do you capture potential customers' interest and engage visitors at a trade fair?

Husqvarna wanted to capture the interest of prospective customers and visitors to the fair in a good and natural way. They also wanted visitors to stop and remember them and the stand.

How do you show value and services in a quality and good way?

Husqvarna launched a whole series of new floor grinders that are not only physical machines with beautiful engineering, but also have many other added value and digital services. These also wanted to show their customers in a good and natural way, preferably in close proximity to the machine.

How do you show engineering in the new floor grinder PG 830 RC?

Husqvarna is proud of its engineering that is inside the new floor grinder PG 830 RC. It includes, among other things, a new chip that can communicate with the outside world, a closed electrical cabinet and a closed grinding head. In an innovative way, they wanted to show it to customers and stakeholders during the large construction fair World of Concrete and also after the fair.

An internal AR app recognizes the machine and enhances its experience. Through iPads and iPhones, sellers, customers or stakeholders can get a whole new experience with the machine.

Key features, services and service data are presented together with the machine

With the help of an interactive experience and AR, key features, services and service data are displayed together with the machine. This makes it easier for sellers to present the machine and for customers and stakeholders to take advantage of the machine's added value in a simple and interactive way.

X-ray function shows engineering in the machine

Using Husqvarna's CAD file on the machine as a basis, an X-ray function was created that showcases the engineering in the machine.

Results

Many future opportunities

The possibility of the new technology and the new cooperation between Husqvarna and Thnx already gave value to the first project and has in a short time resulted in several cooperation projects that have been positive for both parties, not least in the areas of marketing and sales.

A tool for both the next trade show and the next customer meeting

The concept and ar solution has already provided added value for Husqvarna, not only at the next fair, but also a tool that Husqvarna employees can use in customer dialogues, marketing materials and presentation purposes for PG 830 RC.

During the fair, visitors were engaged in the machine and services

With the help of new AR technology and a complete concept with a stand with digital interaction and the dedicated Husqvarna representatives, fair participants were able to take part of the PG 830 RC floor grinder, its advantages and the services Upcare connect, Fleet services and Tool Selector in a new, innovative and modern way.
