The name "härlitt", alludes to the literature here, where I am. I start from my own position and, with the help of my mobile phone, find myself in the middle of the literature. What stories have taken place right here, where I am? What events and occurrences in an author's life are I close to? härlitt makes literature and authorship in Västerbotten visible by linking local authorship to physical places where the user can take part in different routes and literary tracks. härlitt shows literary Västerbotten in a completely new way - through descriptions of literary places, portraits of authorship emerge. In addition to author presentations and literary locations, härlitt also features previously unpublished works, literary tracks, placed at specific locations by authors. A literary track is locked until I am in the same place it was left, only then can I read it and often also listen to an author's reading.

this was before we at THNX started working on the app. The goal when the project started for us was to take härlitt to the next level together with Gullers Grupp and Regionbibliotek Västerbotten. A completely new design and new features were the first step to improve the experience.
A major effort has also been made to meet accessibility requirements, thereby enabling everyone to use the site. A study has been carried out and research has been done to simplify and improve the experience for all.

In a series of workshops with the client, Gullers Grupp took a fresh look at the existing app and pointed out the direction for further development. Gullers and THNX worked in three stages of development where we improved the various parts of the app together with THNX, developed new functionality focusing primarily on routes that users can follow, and updated the design and logo. After the relaunch, Gullers and THNX have continued to manage and further develop the app.
The härlitt app takes you to places of significance for authorship and literature. Authors leave traces for you in the landscape, which you unlock by visiting the places where they were left.
The solution contains audio and visual images with nice descriptions of literary places. You as a user of the app härlitt can easily overview literary places and tracks in Västerbotten. There is information about authors and works linked to a place in the app. Experience literary Västerbotten and mark your favourite places and authors.
härlitt puts Västerbotten's literature on the map. With the help of härlitt, the user can discover the literature in the region where it has taken place. The user can choose to start ready-made routes where stories can be read while the user takes a walk from point A to point B, and easily get more information about the different places found in härlitt.
